Who we are
This website is run by Llama Consulting Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 15898830), registered office 71–75 Shelton Street, London, WC2H 9JQ. What we collect
- When you use our contact form: your name, email address, and, if you choose to give them, your organisation, phone number, the service you’re interested in and your message.
- When you book a call: your name, email address, the time you choose and anything you tell us about what you’d like to discuss. Bookings are made on our scheduling provider’s website, Cal.com.
- When you email or call us: your contact details and anything you tell us.
- When we work together: the names, job titles and contact details of the people we deal with, and the records needed to run the project and invoice for it.
- When you visit the website: our hosting provider records technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.
We don’t use analytics or advertising tools on this website, and we don’t build profiles of visitors.
How we use it, and our lawful basis
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange or hold a call. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
- To deliver our services and manage our relationship with clients. Lawful basis: performance of a contract.
- To keep accounting and tax records. Lawful basis: legal obligation.
- To keep the website secure. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in protecting the site and its visitors.
We won’t send you marketing emails unless you have asked us to, and you can stop them at any time. We never sell personal data.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only with providers who help us run the business, under contracts that require them to protect it and use it only on our instructions:
- Cloudflare, which hosts this website and processes contact form submissions.
- Resend, which delivers contact form messages to our inbox.
- Cal.com, which runs our booking page and sends booking confirmations.
- Hostinger, which hosts our email.
- Professional advisers, such as our accountant, where needed.
We may also share data if the law requires it.
Transfers outside the UK
Some of these providers process data outside the UK, including in the United States. When they do, the transfer is protected by UK adequacy regulations or by the data transfer agreements approved by the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
How long we keep it
- Enquiries and booked calls that don’t lead to work: up to two years from our last contact, then deleted.
- Client and financial records: six years from the end of the financial year they relate to, as tax law requires.
- Website security logs: kept by Cloudflare for a short period, in line with its own retention policy.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- ask us to correct data that is wrong or incomplete
- ask us to delete your data
- ask us to restrict how we use your data, or object to us using it
- ask us to transfer your data to another organisation
To use any of these rights, email info@llamaconsulting.co.uk. We’ll reply within one month. There is usually no charge.
Complaints
If you’re unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
